Absolutely love the new away kit for the French national football team, taking its cues from the 'mariniere', the shirt is a reference to the uniform of sailors in the navy in the 19th century and then adopted by civilians in the early 20th century. A symbol of French culture, the new shirt is simple and potentially really iconic... surely a classic.

I do like it, must admit. But surely if Nike are going to produce this kit - shouldn't it come with a beret and string of garlic?
